All In Comp Discussion
For a mid level (associate) role, when in the process does it make sense to bring up target bonus % / discretionary comp? Whenever I have been involved with a non-recruiter/direct with employer process I find it is unnatural to ask that question in earlier rounds, but it is definitely important information as salary on its own doesn’t give full context to comp. What are other people generally doing in terms of when it is appropriate and with whom to ask about bonus/all in comp?
