I work for a foreign fund that has recently set up shop in the US and am a hiring manager for acquisitions analyst and associates. Am getting a lot of resumes of juniors with AM roles indicating that they do acquisitions. Do AMs actually do acquisitions? What do the acquisitions team do then?
