Am I compensated fairly?
Going to be a senior analyst at a Life Co in asset management in a major market (NY/SF). Making 105k base 15k bonus with 2 years relevant experience. Should I have negotiated more? Bonus seems light but I guess base makes up for it.
Your bonus might be a little light, but I wouldn't stress over it at this stage in your career. It isn't worth 5k or 10k to make big waves as an analyst.
I’d say it’s fair for a life co. I just signed up at a REIT making 125k all in NYC with 2.5 years exp.
Acq or AM?
I’d say that’s fair. I worked on the debt side at a life co and was at 85 + 30% with 3.5 years experience in a ATL/DAL type market. Your WLB will be solid and benefits will be great.
How much should analysts and associates make on a brokerage team that’s sold close to $15B?
What kind of life co is this? PGIM/NUVEEN or Northwestern mutual/USAA
trying to get a since for size
10-15B aum
Bonus is a little light but not outrageous. Your WLB at a LifeCo is going to be a breeze so worth it IMO.
What exactly is the job description for this sort of role. All these comp figures thrown out seem a bit on the light side for finance? Not by a huge amount since it’s all junior but still a bit
