Anyone ever work for Newmark in SoCal?
I’ve been interviewing with this company for a while now for a senior analyst position but have no idea how their office is like in terms of culture, compensation, and management.
Anyone here have an idea what it’s like or are there better shops to look for?
Is this for the El Segundo office ? If so, and you can get yourself on Kevin Shannon's team, then expect everything that comes along with supporting one of the biggest rainmakers on the West Coast (heavy deal flow, long hours, and comp that reflects that). If you can hack it, then exit ops are top notch.
What is culture, WLB, and comp like ? And how long are the hours
Dude he told you the hours are long so take that for what you will nobody’s going to know the exact amount of hours that you’re going to be working in the shop every week. And as far as culture goes he told you to expect to do what is needed to support one of the biggest rainmakers on the
on the West Coast, so take that for what you will.
OC office has a much better culture from what I have been told compared to LA, but that is very similar to all brokerage shops for the most part. Kevin's team sits everywhere and he has producers that sit in the OC office, which focus on institutional office and MOB. I would imagine comp would be less though.
I have a buddy who is there as a 2nd year analysts and makes $80K base. Is that pretty aligned with the market?
