I work in lending for a bank where we do large lines of credit for builders so I can’t give too much insight into exit ops. I will say that in homebuilding, money is made in land. The land acquisition and development guys are some of the most valuable in a HB operation due to the fact that home construction (for production sized homes) is pretty streamlined and standardized.
