The start of many more I’m sure… why spend any time on direct purchases when you can buy misvalued operators instead… Apollo doesn’t really even increase its brand here, just literally takes more fees now..

Artemis just got taken private too. This might not necessarily make things worse, but things certainly won't get better. PE only cares about returns and any additional profits they generate will go back to them. I don't think I've seen a time recently where a company got acquired and most employees benefited. I've seen the partners get a big payday though.
do any of the analysts/associates/vp's get bonuses because of a major buyout like that?? partners should share the love a little bit I'd hope.
