Architect to RE
Hi I am an architect ,after working in 2 firms in a span of 2 year, I believe I have more in me. I would like to switch in into REITs and eventually work towards making my own real estate development business. I know thats far off but I would like to start small.
So here is the plan. I have applied for MSRE and MRED programs and currently waiting for a response. Meanwhile looking to get a few internships and build a resume. Ideally I believe I would like to join a RE shop work as an analyst and build a solid foundation . Then move into investments and eventually developments.
Im young and hungry and I know this is going to happen one day. But would love to hear insights and learn more.
