What resources are available as far as textbooks, modeling, videos to help learn the Development game?
No real prior RE experience unfortunately, but I want to learn what I can to make me better at my job and be well rounded for whatever exit ops may be presented to me down the road.

The point is - this forum is littered with tons of resources to answer the questions that you just asked. Search around for a little while. If you can't find an answer to a question that you have, come back and ask that specific question.
