Argus certified as a sophomore?
I have this opportunity to get Argus certified through a real estate club at my university. It will cost me only 50$ to get apparently (largely funded by the school).
I have a tenant rep internship lined up in a primary market with a big shop. They never asked if I was certified in Argus, so I wondering if it I have to get it. I'm planning on joining a cap markets team after college; therefore, should I get now or wait until asked.

I would say go for it if it’s only $50. It won’t hurt and could definitely help show that you are interested in RE. Also it may help you land more interviews.

Not many college students graduate with the cert, will definitely help to have that on your resume
Argus certifications expire after two years. If you want the experience now go for it but you wont be able to put the cert on your resume without getting it renewed or lying. Having the experience is always a plus though since it’s the industry standard
It will definitely help with internships though, and the training needed to pass the cert exam is useful.
