I'm looking to start a side hustle and thought that subcontracting stuff such as solar panel installations might work. I was wondering if it's possible to learn the business through books and the internet. Could I learn some stuff get licensed, buy some insurance, then hire a guy to do the work.
I'm thinking about doubling down on this and starting my first venture, but I've never even hired a contractor. All I know is that contracting and construction companies are making a shit ton of money and I would like to supplement my 9-5 salary so I can buy a house.
