Does anybody have any insight into the real estate group at Barings? Recent deals, culture, etc. Any bit of info is appreciated.

They are a life company that focuses on larger deals. There are several different groups with their own unique cultures. Generally, they have better hours and a more laidback culture. I would compare them with NYL, Metlife and Prudential.
They are buying an office building in Buckhead right now. They invest in real estate equities as well
Isn't Barings the same as Cornerstone?
Either way, sophisticated investors that have done some neat deals recently. Somewhere you'd want to work.
