Barings Real Estate
What is Barings reputation in the market?
Is it a good company to work for? Can someone elaborate on general culture / comp / perks / hours etc...?
How are they different than the PGIM/Liberty Mutual/other Insurance-backed investment firms?
What is the growth trajectory for Barings?
How is the comp package / working hours for Barings compared to a more "standard" pension-backed type of investment management firm (Blackstone/KKR/Carlyle)?
You live in Hartford bro...dont do it....
They're shutting that office down...thanks
Aren’t the HQ’d there? What are they planning on doing with all of those people then?
Hartford is the insurance capital of the world. So naturally, owned by MassMutual, Barings has an presence there. But within the RE team, there's may be 3 people, whom are all either relocating to NYC or Boston post-Covid. When I said shutting that office down, I meant for RE folks. There's always going to be some hybrid MassMutal/Barings people there.
