Best approach for online modeling course?

I’ve recently started and online re modeling course and was wondering what the best way to approach the content is. should I model along with the instructional video. watch it and try it on my own or some combination of both.

I would think that trying it on my own after watching it is best but I usually just end up with mistakes and then go back and correct, it feels like at the end I still might not be 100% comfortable with the material.

Alternatively, I could just go through everything even if I’m not fully confident with it and then when an interview comes study specifically for what the company does.

any advice would be appreciated
