Best Commercial Brokerage Markets
What markets do you guys see as being the best to get into Investment Sales and Debt/Equity at a brokerage in the next 5-10 years? I'm a junior in college and will be doing brokerage at a major institutional broker (think HFF/CB/JLL) in a major US city, but it's probably a second-tier city as far as deal flow (top producers usually bringing in between $500-700k). Assuming I'd like to stick with brokerage after this summer, what major markets would be the best to get into as far as compensation is concerned?
New York, LA, Boston (including cambridge), Chicago.
