Best option for remote CRE jobs?
very interested in transitioning from a traditional in-office CRE job (acquisitions/AM/I-sales) to something either 100% or mostly remote. I'm thinking something like a mortgage broker or debt fund role would be the most likely option. Never worked in debt before (mostly have worked in i-sales and acquisitions) but it seems like it would require the least facetime/site visits of any re finance role. Anybody have any suggestions of type of roles or firms to pursue that have a remote culture?
Smaller firm or family office type shop where you are close to leadership is the best option without hamstringing your career growth. The bigger the shop, the bigger the downside of working remotely imo
