Best Platform To Learn Modeling ?

Hello All -

Has anyone used a great third party service that helped them exponentially with their modeling for either Multi-Family or Industrial? I’m still fairly new to the job and they don’t teach us how to model at my shop, just working off templates.

Check out Getrefm. It’s self taught videos. Very helpful. That’s how I learned. It’s a bit pricey. Honestly though, if you have templates and don’t need to adjust them, don’t worry. Modeling isn’t super complicated and you should be able to figure out if it’s a good deal via back of the napkin. If you still want to be more technical, check out The above.

Yeah I’d check out refm, it’s pretty good and what I’m using to learn. There are also a bunch of cheaper courses on Udemy for like 15-20 bucks when they’re on sale. Honestly, at my internship I’ve learned quite a bit just from looking through old deals and rebuilding the models.
