"Best" Real Estate Opportunistic Fund?

I understand that the word best is very subjective. But what i am asking for is a list/top opportunistic real estate fund in term of competitiveness to get a job (exclusivity) in terms of money raised (largest amount) and in terms of track record (just killing the game). To rephrase the question if there was one place to kick your a** where would that be?

Thanks!

Check out the PERE 50...google should do the trick. Best means different things to different people. For some it is money, for others it is family (and work/life balance)...funds (and all businesses for that matter) have their own culture that when aligned with YOUR values will make your role there what you might consider to be "the best." Talk to people at different shops and see if their values (and workplace culture) align with what you are looking for in an employer. That would be a good start.
