Wisconsin, UNC, Virginia, USC, BYU, NYU, Georgia, Berkeley, UT Austin, SMU, Michigan. Feel like those are some heavy hitters from consistent placement I’ve seen on LinkedIn

I’ve hired a fair amount of analysts & associates in my career, and this is the exact list plus Georgetown, UCLA, plus the Ivies as OP mentioned. Obviously some are more regional - UGA is absolute gold in Atlanta, but wouldn’t matter if you want to be outside the southeast or DC. That said, many of the people I’ve hired did not come from these schools - they may have had to start somewhere else for a year or two, but were top of their class at very good/next tier schools that aren’t as strong in real estate. That’s where Indiana, Miami, George Washington, BC, Texas A&M, and Notre Dame all fit when I hire. All of that said - I have hired multiple people from schools not listed. They were really high potential, personable, had built a network/had a referral I trusted, and/or had developed valuable skills for an early career acquisitions role (modeling and/or understanding how to conduct & analyze DD).

Cornell Nolan (Hotel Administration) — I don’t go to Cornell.
