I am currently 31 with about 8 YOE (appraisal, loan acquisitions, loan workouts), but none at a bank. I have a real estate finance background and looking to get into real estate banking (managing REO assets/workouts/underwriting) or working at a private credit shop. Any recommendations on how to enter this field? I am looking to move to Boston.
