BNY Mellon Real Estate
How is BNY Mellon regarded in the greater NYC market? Specifically their CRE origination division? Dont hear much about them nor do I hear them working on the bigger deals. Last I heard was that BNY Mellon and Amherst formed a new real estate credit company, which was a few year ago. Any info on culture, work hours, or rep would be greatly appreciated.
Very old school..typical 80s/90s M&A guys. They did financing for one of our infra related investments and honestly it was actually suffocating to hang w the the mellons
