How would people think about this position vs. equity at a PERE T50 firm?
Dude... its Blackstone.
As an entry level role, they won't care. If you get to VP on the debt side, it will be a bit harder to move to an equity role at that level if you want to stay at a MF, but at analyst/associate all they will see is "Blackstone".
This looks way better than almost anywhere
