Does anyone have an opinion on the best CRE data in Canada? I am mostly looking for multifamily stats so Zonda, Urbanation (just GTA / Ontario though) and maybe Altus? My firm already subscribes to Costar but, at least in Canada, it doesn't have the same level of granularity for condo and multifamily rents.
Pros and cons of each and any other providers I am missing would be appreciated.

Had some expierence with Altus, CommercialEdge, Zonda, CoStar and Paragon in Canada West. Doesn't like Altus at all, expensive and data accuracy/update problem. I would like suggest a subscription of local real estate MLS related data platform or borrow an account from Commerical Real Estate Broker. Also, big real estate consultant companies (ex. Colliers, CBRE) and appraisal firms build their own data base, if you dont work for them, make friends with their analysts. You may want to have at least two reliable resource to cross check the data as well, local assessment agencies should have some basic real estate data.
Thanks for the feedback. MLS will only cover condo rentals so would still be a gap in purpose built rental data, which is what I am most interested in. And yes I chat with brokers all the time but want to be able to quickly pull rents from different markets when underwriting without having to call a broker.
For multi - Urbanation for Ontario, Zonda out west, Altus for condo.
CoStar is probably the best overall general repository for trades (Altus slightly better for land).
Thanks - do you find Costar's multifamily data passable or it's worth it to upgrade to Zonda / Urbanation?
It is fine for identifying comps but you 100% have to do your own research once you identify the buildings you want to reference. Their rent data is almost always outdated or wrong/based on a small sample set. Before we had Urbanation we'd have analysts call the leasing offices to pretend to be a prospect if rents weren't listed online.
