Looking for some advice. I've been at a GP and looking to make a move. I've just been doing analyst/associate level work, underwriting/modeling and putting together memos. I've been networking, but I'm still not sure if my skill set is competitive. How can I stand out? Sounds like everyone has this experience. Is there anything I should look to add skills wise?
I have experience modeling multi value add, multi dev, office, office adaptive reuse. I feel confident modeling but how valuable is that really? Feels like once I make the models anyone can go in change assumptions, plug numbers. Don't have experience with other asset types.
Would a jump to the LP side work? Would the debt side value any of this?
bump plz help
Why are you looking to dip? Sounds like a decent gig across multiple asset classes.
Mostly comp progression. I think base and bonus is capped and I do get promote but that is on a deal by deal basis and I'm not too confident going forward...
Could all work out but I am almost 30 and I need to be making more money. Also looking to move closer to family
What does your comp package look like and where are you based? Around the same age as you at the senior associate level, so may be able to add some color
bump, also looking for advice
