As I'm planning for my next career move, just want to see if there are any other opportunities to work heavily with both securities and real estate other than the general paths (CMBS underwriting, B-Piece buying). While B-piece buying would be my go to next step, it is a very niche market and essentially contains only a select few firms as the space is very risky. Would love some other options to look into from anyone that has a better sense of the space.
