Has anyone heard anything about this? High level exec at CB type firm said he spoke with CB exec and they claimed Eastdil is not on the radar but the rumor is floating around. Not that I'm doubting this exec but where there's smoke there's fire.
Rumor might be coming out of JPM if any guys over there are working on proposals.

Eastdil isn't publicly traded, and it was just recapped by Temasek and senior management a year ago. Doubt it is for sale right now, but I guess never say never.
