I'm pretty sure it doesn't work how you think it works. There aren't real "league tables" or anything like that. It varies so much from person to person, role to role, and office to office.
This is speculative, but seconding what CRE said, I would guess it varies a hell of a lot. If you're an analyst for a top producer in NY (or San Francisco), you're probably not getting paid on the same scale as a middle-of-the-pack guy in Tampa. What I would expect is that bonuses are probably a large portion of your all in comp and would be dependent on how much the guys above you produce.
