You mean CBRE? IIRC analyst and associate pay is comparable to other depts, regardless of role. Similar to IBD salary having the same base across the board, different teams/firms may get different bonuses, but the base is set firm wide. Hope that helps.

At the analyst level I'd have to disagree CBRE salary is like IBD salary. If you're referring to at the base level I'd agree they were similar, maybe not anymore with the recent bump from $70k to $85k base. At the bonus level they're much different though.

At the Vice President and up level you could easily argue pay is quite similar and maybe exceeds IBD salary if you can make it rain.

Robert Clayton Dean: What is happening? Brill: I blew up the building. Robert Clayton Dean: Why? Brill: Because you made a phone call.

Whoa, no I wasn't suggesting that CBRE pays their analysts like IBD analysts at all. I was just saying that if you're a CMBS associate you're in the same pay band as any other "associate" in the firm. In the same way that a FO associate salary is set across the firm in banking or consulting and everyone is taking home the same base. So by extension if you're looking at glassdoor and there's an associate salary, but it's not a CMBS associate job title, the number is probably in the right ballpark.

If were a betting man, and absent info from any insiders here on the board, I'd bet the Cantor Fitzgerald analyst and associate salaries are at the very least in the same ballpark as CCRE then. According to the CF website they're in their portfolio of companies, probably similar compensation schema.
