CenterPoint Properties

Any thoughts on CenterPoint Properties specifically the Eastern Region/ NJ office What is its reputation? Comp, culture, hours, growth opportunities, etc. would be great.

Talked to someone from there a few years ago. Great shop Annoying thing i remember though is their New Jersey office is basically impossible to commute to from NYC (even on NJ transit) so you have to live out there which was a major no go for me when I was 25

very well known industrial buyer/developer. they are typical mid west type company culture wise. what kind of role? I know the West region guys. They are a wholly owned platform via Calpers. You'll get salary, cash bonus and some kind of LTIP. Unlike a traditional REIT where the money will vest over time, whatever stock award you get will have some kind of structure where its locked up and needs to be redeemed...and there is a queue for that. SO that LTIP is a bit more illiquid than a reit or even a private sponsor type set up IMO. I am pretty sure that's how it works anyway but you'd obviously find out if you get an offer.
