Curious if anyone has any insight regarding CMBS groups in Atlanta. It seems like most shops are based in NYC/DFW/LA. Does anyone know if there are any originations deal teams (conduit/large loan) these days? LinkedIn searches haven’t proven very helpful. Appreciate any info y’all might be able to share. Thanks
DB has a conduit team in Atlanta but I think that’s about it. Typically shops will cover the sunbelt from Charlotte, Miami or Dallas.

originations roles are a bit more agnostic about locations - especially if there is a rainmaker in said city. CMBS securitization jobs overwhelmingly in NYC but origination/underwriting in NYC/CLT/DFW/LA/Etc. with originators sprinkled in Florida, Chicagoland, San Francisco, all of Texas.
Anything in Atlanta would be 1 off. I’ve worked in cmbs for 10+ (sad) and I have never heard of a full presence. Mostly some ops teams and a one off originator or two in my experience.
