Colony Northstar - Info Needed

What do you all know about this firm, specifically the LA office? can you all tell me their main focus (debt vs. equity vs. management pet projects), pay, hours, culture, opportunities to advance within the company and/or exit ops, b school ops, etc... Thank you!

about me: I have an interview coming up with them through a personal relationship and would rather have this be a 'career advice meeting' rather than a job interview so everyone can save face (in the case that it's not a good next step). I have a few years of RE experience and I'm well qualified for the job, looking for an exit but I'm willing to be patient in order to ensure the right move is made.

There is an article I just read the other day on Bloomberg that does a good job providing some info on the company. Go to Bloomberg and look for an article titled "Tom Barrack Juggles Trump Defense and Revamped Property Empire".

Lots of info regarding Tom Barrack (owner) and Colony Northstar. Colony capital & Northstar recently merged and formed Colony Northstar.
