Commercial Mortgage Data is Public Record?
I'm working on an idea for a real estate-related online platform and I need commercial real estate mortgage data. I know mortgages are usually recorded but it typically only displays original loan amount and origination date. Where does one get commercial mortgage data such as rate, term, amortization, points for recently closed commercial real estate loans?
I also checked Costar but it seems they only have mortgage data for larger loans (usually above 5M). Does anyone know Costar's source for their loan data? Also, where would one be able to obtain loan data for smaller $1-5M dollar loans?
You could pay companies for their internal data.
