Commercial Real Estate Research Analyst
Recent College grad and no experiance in real estate other than a internship at a firm. Would a research analyst position be a entry level position i could get in with no experiance and set me up well to persue the long term goal of being a broker (investment sales or leasing brokerage)? trying to connect at CBRE primarily.
Yes, I've seen it done. Obviously not the ideal route to go Research --> IS Analyst --> Broker as IS analyst is obtainable out of UG (sometimes).
A friend of mine successfully went from CRE research --> IS --> Principal at a good shop sooo anything is possible if you got the hustle and the heart compadre.
