Long time lurker on here and thought I would post. I doubt Ten-X will ever overtake traditional brokerage on the institutional side (>50m deal / ticket sizes).

I think Ten X had some good ideas but I've never been impressed.

CoStar, the world's best example of something being better than nothing, but still not being any good.
This is just an expansion of CoStar’s continued efforts to cut into the broker’s spread.
Will it succeed? Probably. However, there will always be value in a broker who can sell without the the help of an online auction or loopnet for that matter.
From my POV, ten x is more applicable to tertiary markets and distressed assets.
