Well, what do you think? Is this good or bad for hoteliers? First glance I think this is a good move for CoStar to branch into a different asset class. On the other hand, I liked that STR was family owned. Does it now become too clunky being absorbed by a bigger conglomerate or RE market research tools?

The other day I sat down at the table and just as I was about to take my first bite I got a push notification from Co-Star on my cell phone, asking me if I said my prayers yet and verified my identity to jesus.
How does costar decide who needs to do these excessive verification things? I have never been asked to do these, I had to install a certificate the first time I used it, but nothing after that.
My laptop login requires me to respond to a push notification on my phone, then use my phone to scan a QR code on my laptop screen, and then use my phone to take a facial recognition type selfie. This is for every single log in. It’s insane.
Don't forget the DNA swabs every other quarter.
