CRE: Analyst for Mortgage Broker vs. Acquisitions at Investment Firm
Both small (<15 people total ea) shops, both more start up (established in the last 4-5 years), both have more than enough deal flow.
I'm trying to switch careers from accounting within the hedge fund space to actual finance, so I'm down for taking a good pay cut to get into one of these but I'm not sure which. It's a large area, near NYC.
Please help if possible.
Thank you
Acquisitions. if it’s a small no name broker why bother you’re not gaining pedigree on your resume so might as well go buy side
Because I don't have any RE experience so I figured I might get loads of variable experience at the other small shop as well.
Acquisitions, no doubt.
