CRE Brokerage Asset Class?
For the CRE brokers out there
Incase my last post wasn't seen, I'm currently doing office valuations in major city in TX at a Big 4 firm. Due to my bonus repayment clause, I can't just leave, however I can shift into brokerage and defer the repayment. Depending on who you ask, I know right now isn't the most ideal time to get into brokerage. I have the ability to weather the storm, so getting paid immediately isn't of top priority. Two questions for the active CRE brokers: 1) Would you go into leasing or capital markets? and 2) Which property type would you try to get into for the mid to long-term upside between industrial, retail, multifamily, or healthcare?
Thanks
1) capital markets 2) depends on market but I’d say multi or industrial
