CRE Multi Development Books

Hey all,

As any true millennial, I’m into my first year at a PERE development group, and I can officially say I plan on starting my own in the next 5-7 years/ next recession.

Somewhat kidding aside, do you all have specific books that relates to or encompasses multifamily development?

Have fun out there boys.

Check out the ULI publications like https://uli.bookstore.ipgbook.com/real-estate-development---5th-edition…</a">this for an academic approach. For a just a fun read on development grab https://www.google.com/search?q=zeckendorf&rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS742US742&sxs…</a">Zeckendorf and enjoy a ride through history. That said, development is truly a hands on type of learning process, have to do it kind of thing to absorb. Leverage your PERE connections to set up some coffee meetings whether it's alumni or or local developers who will let you bend their ear. If there's one thing I've learned it's developers LOVE to be the big swinging dicks of CRE so they will be happy to tell you about a few of their own experiences.
