CRE Networking in Greater DC Area
I've been working for a GP in the DMV area for 0-2 years (first CRE job after undergrad).My company is pretty insular so I don't get much engagement with contemporaries at other shops.Looking for input from other locals on good ways to meet other local young (or not young) professions in the industry. I'm not a member of any real estate groups or organizations but I'm open to joining some.Thanks in advance

ULI, NAIOP, The Real Estate Group. Those will get you most of the way there. Real Estate Group is the only one that is exclusive around membership (not exclusive really just requires an application and sponsors.
Brokerage shops (Eastdil, JLL, Newmark) will host HHs throughout the year. You might have to find a way to get plugged in with them though. YREP used to host an annual boat party and gala but haven’t seen much from them in a while.
