They are definitely very heavy hitters. I’ve bought buildings from them where they exited for 5x their money, before the promote. Granted, what I am referencing is based upon initial purchase price and, what we could gather was the amount of leverage they had on the asset. If my numbers are off, it wasn’t 5x. But it was an extremely strong return. 

 

I was trying to figure out if the name had something to do with Doug Crocker (almost wrote Doug Focker btw, on phone) but I don't think so, curious if anyone knows the origin...
