Crow Holdings and Trammellcrow Comapny - Difference?

Can someone please explain the difference between these two. It looks like TCC is owned by CBRE. Why did the crow family start crow holdings? Did it start as a family office after the sale of tcc?

Crow Holdings was the remainder of assets from what CBRE didn't buy and the family office of the Crow family (not really organized as a family office, it is a full fledge equity, development, and investment mngt firm that raises 3rd party capital).
