Surprised this topic isn't getting much traction when the Tides thread has like 500 comments. Seems like Nightingale has been much shadier and shit is really hitting the fan for them.

Aren't they a pretty well known, large owner outside NYC?
I mean, there isn't much to say. They just stole a bunch of money. While that is insane and the implications for CrowdStreet are pretty serious, there isn't a whole discussion of "how did this happen?" It's a tale as old as time - no financial controls and shady operators. Of course money was stolen!

I’ve said this time & again on this forum. If someone knew the facts - why would they share it on an anonymous forum. This is active litigation. (1) they are risking themselves if they get caught. (2) until the case settles or is ruled upon, you won’t know the truth if you’re not part of it.
