Day in the Life of a BX Analyst
Hey I am really curious about what the day in the life of an analyst is like at BX Real Estate (BREP, BREDS, etc.). Wondering how it differs from IB in actual work product to the work life balance as well. Would love to hear from those that used to work there or currently do or even friends of them. Thanks!

Very different from IB as Bx is Buyside while IB is sellside - I would say day to day at the analyst level is evaluating investments brought to you by more senior people and using excel models and possibly argus to analyze the investments. Putting together IC memos and packages is probably also a large part
In general the actual work, excel & PowerPoint & email, might be the same as IB but the actual way you look at and think about investments is going to differ greatly
