DC REPEs?
Does any have further insight into what groups for MF / MM REPEs sit in DC?
Especially thinking about Starwood, Brookfield, Carlyle etc - is it just asset management roles? Or regionally focused acquisitions teams too?
Appreciate the help

Following
Carlyle, Brookfield, and Westbrook Partners. Carlyle and Westbrook definitely have ACQ & AM in DC. Not 100% sure about Brookfield ACQ in DC but I know they have development there.
Thank you - any insight on other decent MM roles there?
Take a look at Artemis - solid shop
Yeah I've heard great things about Artemis (culture, comp, etc) since their HQ is there. Curious about their competitors
A lot of major GPs have an office in DC, Trammal Crow, Hines, JBG, EQR, Etc.
On MM side, FCP’s HQ is in DC metro. Penzance is a good local firm.
Declaration Partners raised their first RE fund. Carmel also raised a $1B+ fund recently and they have a DC office.
Do you know a lot about FCP? Looks like a lot of the current Starwood / Carlyle / Brookfield guys in DC started at FCP so assuming it must be a solid fund
They were started by two ex-Carlyle guys. They mostly focus on value add multifamily but have backed some cool developments/conversions. Exit opps from there are strong.
Any intel on ASB?
