D/E Analyst Comp
How is comp generally structured for a D/E analyst at JLL. I’m beginning to talk to an HFF team that is now at JLL and want to know what the comp structure is likely to look like for someone with about 2 years of experience.
What is a reasonable base salary to expect? What is the range to expect for a bonus?

same. particular in nyc, chi, and la.
At an analyst level I would expect base to come in between $50k to $80k with total comp a function of the team's production. All in probably $75k to $130k.
This sounds correct to me. Unfortunately there is a wide salary range for cap markets analysts so you won’t really know until you have an offer.
At the analyst level, how structured is the bonus?
Is it typically discretional and determined by the broker that manages the office?
Is it typically a specified % of the fee revenue per deal? Would it be reasonable to think that, of a $50mm loan, that the broker's fee is 1%, or $500,000, that about 50% of that goes to the firm, and $250,000 is distributed amongst the team? Is it reasonable to think that of that $250,000 that about 5%, or $12,500 would go to the Analyst in the form of a bonus?
