Debt brokers: how much of the fee are you keeping?
I’ll start.
Deals vary along the way but T-12 I am keeping ~50% of the gross commission.

50%
50% on average but that is then split amongst the team (i.e. if there are two senior brokers, they’ll take the lions share and then give 1% to analysts)

All premium is treated as any other fee income at my shop. Are you talking about Fannie Mae's split that they take?
In other words not 50%.
How much are you keeping?
Mine ranges anywhere from 40% - to 60% to the producer. Based on production, producer keeps more, but starts at 40/60.

40-75% depending on production. Most years recently average out right around 50%. But we have a 10% retainage that gets paid out 2 years afterwards and if the prior year, the minimum production was not hit, that gets forfeited.
Sounds like most are keeping 50%. Assuming these are all senior level.
Thanks for the feedback!
