Debt Fund Learning Material
Heavily considering making the transition to a debt fund. Anyone have any good learning materials or articles/books worth reading? Definitely less material out there for the debt space than the equity side.

Just curious, where are you transitioning from / what makes you interested in the debt fund space?
I work for an institutional capital markets team that does both IS and D/E placement. Bridge & construction debt / Subordinate debt / pref equity transactions just seem more complex and interesting.
I mean, from a real estate perspective the standard recommended reading list - you still need to understand real estate. From a lender's perspective I think you'd just need to pick up whatever is recommended on here for corporate lending and take note of the relevant info/mindset, because I don't think there are any well known books on CRE lending specifically. Maybe look for books on project finance as well.
