I have, but it was through a recruiter. They had a salary range listed, but the recruiter put me up knowing I was one of the best candidates and told them early I wouldn't move for less than my number (which was about 25% over the range). They liked me so much they met my price plus 10% because during the interview process I ended up with a competing offer that they matched.
I'm later in my career and pretty specialized though.
Going to be much harder to replicate as an analyst/associate when there are tons of people looking right now.
