It makes perfect sense to flee the failed socialist state of LA so I'm with you there. But I'm not sure how long the OC will be able to hold out against the rising shrill blue hairs of the North. Why not follow the remaining sane Americans out of CA to a state with an actual future? Also, loan surveillance is a broad term that may be a lot of reporting on class c multifamily. Or it could be writing up action plans for property turnarounds. I'd keep digging to figure out what interests you about these roles, not just take the first job that gets you out of LA - but I feel that sense of urgency! I bet you can make at least $65K in the OC if they want someone with a couple years experience. It's back office though so think about your exit opportunities wisely. God bless and good luck.
