All dependent on team profile. You could be on the worst performing CW team in NY/SF or the best performing JLL team in Nashville/Orlando - all depends on who is crushing it.
Brokers like to tell everyone and anyone that will listen to them how many deals they've done recently. If they aren't talking about their deal flow, it's not great. Plus, on their website 99% of brokers have a "recent transactions" list.
If your goal is to long term stay in brokerage, id say tier 1 city CW, always easier to move to a smaller city, not as easy to move up. If you are going to move out of brokerage, then JLL tier 2. But as others are saying, it is really team dependent.

i’ve always been curious how you’d figure out the teams volume. like unless they post their year end summary how would you even know?
