Got it. Can you not relocate within your current company? And are you positive you want to get out of acquisitions just for a brand name to try and get back in later on?

I think with some hustle, you can land an acquisitions position in whatever your target market is. You already have the experience and I'm not sure I would want to be an analyst again after all that. If you are a mid level professional, I think brand names don't matter as much as your current: skills, network, and motivation.

Maybe some older members can give their two cents.
